Olga grew up living in and off of the Matamoros garbage dump in Mexico. She is 13 years old and comes from a family of 10 children and a single mom. Olga started school at the age of 11. Before that she was unable to attend school due to financial need, but she taught herself to read at home using her Bible. Her sisters taught her what math they knew. At age 11 through her persistance she was finally enrolled in First Grade at the public school. After testing, she was immediately placed in third grade. She was accepted into Regional Bible Institute, Sanctuary Christian Academy (a boarding school in Edinburg Texas) in Jan 08, from the fifth grade in Mexico with a very good grade report. She has been getting A's in all of her classes, and is on the Honor Roll. She is learning English and piano as well as all the other subjects. She has a real talent for music. She sings very beautifully and has even composed her own songs. She wants to be a teacher some day.

Quantum Campus is sponsoring her education as well as room and board. It is our intention to see her through college and into a career that is sure to touch many more lives.

There are many ways to get involved. First prayer would be greatly appreciated Pastor David has started and operated this ministry for over 11 years on faith alone. He has never solicited money from anyone, relying only on God to meet the needs of their community of underprivileged children. They have grown to 26 girls and have witnessed daily God’s provision and unfailing LOVE. Now some of the graduates of the Regional Bible Institute have gone onto college and are studying (or have become among other things) teachers & nurses, working at the Academy and the Matamoros dump.

Of course another way to get involved is to donate money monthly or in one lump sum. They have room for more girls; it costs $400.00 to bring a girl out of the Matamoros dump. This covers visa, passport, immigration fee and birth certificate. Then it costs 100.00 registration fee and 140.00 for their clothing and uniforms, 100.00 a month for tuition fee, 130 for room and board.
